David arrived in Taiwan as Project Design Leader for a major transportation project in Taipei. Within 2 years he took up the role of Country Manager for URSI building a strong design department which was acquired by Steven Leach in late 1990. In 1996 David became a SLA Group Partner and continues as Senior Director for Greater China for the SLA Group.

Edward relocated from SL+A Hong Kong, in 1990. Influential for establishing the design studios and the separate construction arm for SL+A Taiwan throughout its growth.

On a daily basis, he is hands-on involved with proposals and contractual arrangements for multinational and local clients.

A SL+A Taiwan longstanding member, she directs one of three studios for design and construction, interacts with clients; also, coordinates and manages vendors throughout projects of different requirements and sizes.

Vivian is scope, schedule, and budget knowledgeable for the banking, corporate, hospitality, and retail sectors. Adaptable, she develops new concepts for assignments, implements company standards, and services existing clients for renovations both large and small.

Mao joined SL+A Taiwan to steer marketing and business development and was instrumental in growing the office into a strong, diverse firm of services for corporate, technical facilities, retail and hospitality client.

Mao is key frontline project involved, with efficient and effective coordination skills for teaming the management, design construction with comprehensive service to complete the project creatively, within budget and schedule.

Simon is a LEED Accredited Professional and a registered mechanical engineer (PE) in the US. Prior to joining SL+A in 2008, Mr. Sue was involved in mechanical design and green building design for various projects in the US, including schools, performing art center, higher education, commercial buildings, healthcare and governmental buildings. In the past five years, he was engaged in several LEED projects. Familiar with energy saving and indoor air quality requirements by LEED, Simon has great knowledge of LEED design and construction process.

Sunny was appointed the Managing Director of the Shanghai because of his talents, dedication to client needs, and broad knowledge in design, management, and construction design industry. He has lead significant projects in Hospitality, Retail Banking, Financial, IT, and Corporate Offices for some of the largest multinationals throughout The Asia Pacific Region. Sunny regularly earns a reputation with his clients of tireless dedication to their project and needs.

Betty’s naturally strong creative design talents, excellent sense of color and knowledge of materials, superior personal management skills, and strong client relations have allowed her to grow from an assistant designer to her current highly respected position. Her ability to work with clients to solve their largest to the smallest problems has earned her positions in project where clients universally agree is indispensable.

Sharon started her journey with the Steven Leach Group in 1993 in the Kuala Lumpur office as the office was setting up presence in Malaysia. Sharon’s role included office administration, human resource and coordinating finance to name a few. In 2008, Sharon had the opportunity to work in the Shanghai office bringing her experience in the Group and today, Sharon continues her role as Director handling matters of Admin, HR & Finance.

Jia Hong has a wealth of design experience in commercial space design, such as the model room, club house, sales center and Hotels. He is familiar to understand the construction process and the local regulations and standards, can manage the project effectively. He has participated in many large projects, as well as the Residential and hospitality projects. As a senior project designer and project manager, he has a good working attitude and can actively face new challenges. In every process of project, he can always show its rich creativity and unique design.

Donal is the Managing Partner of Steven J. Leach, Jr. + Associates Limited, Bangkok as well as a member of the American Institute of Architects and The Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. After spending sixteen years in New York City and Hong Kong respectively as an Architect, Mr. Coyne assumed the role of Managing Partner of SL+A Bangkok in 1996. He has been now in Thailand for 15 years, all of which have been at SL+A.

Kenneth, Interior Design Director of SL+A Bangkok, has over 15 years of extensive experience in a wide range of projects. His portfolio includes residential clients, corporate accounts for multinational companies and high-end retail design projects. He is responsible for developing conceptual designs on all our interior projects, working closely with design team to deliver the best solutions and design quality for our clients.

Jonathan Kim is a competent Architectural/Design professional with over 20 years experience in Corporate Office / Workplace design. Jonathan is a managing director at Steven Leach & Associates Inc., one of the leading interior design firms in Asia. In 2002, He established Steven Leach & Associates Inc Seoul office as Managing Director and has been leading as one of Seoul’s most international Design & Project Management firms.

Noriko has lead SLA Tokyo since 2008. When she encountered a various and rich office-design in the U.S., she felt that this design field was exactly she wanted to explore creative opportunities in her career. Since then she’s been enjoying by seeing rapid transformation of working environment, which includes advanced IT technology to the behavior psychology of individual and the group.

Martin joined Steven J. Leach, Jr. + Associates Sendirian Berhad in 1994 with varied experience in design including teaching, consultancy, furniture and industrial design and management. He has resided in Malaysia since 1986. As Managing Director, Martin is responsible for the quality control of design and management for all SL + A projects.
